Looking for a place to hang out after school? Teen Lounge is your space to relax, create, and connect! Drop in to play games, work on homework, make art, listen to music, or just spend time with friends. We'll have a variety of activities available each week, along with snacks and a welcoming space where you can be yourself. No registration is required just stop by and make yourself at home!

"The Beauty of Beasts" is a solo show by scratchboard artist Megan George. From her upbringing on a dairy farm to her career as a vet tech, animals have taught Megan the essence of what it means to be on this earth. Her work conveys the emotions and lessons that animals can teach us, in all their life stages.

"Everlasting Floral Design" is a solo show by Abby Zlotnick, owner of Juniper Farm, whose show celebrates the timeless beauty of locally-grown flowers through all-dried, everlasting arrangements and installations. Abby has been consistently inspired by farming since her first farming experience in 2012. Since then, Abby has made it her mission to share a slice of the Earth's greatest joys with her community.

Both exhibitions are generously sponsored by Land + Shelter Architecture Studio and Down Valley Brewing, and are on display through October 29. The gallery is open weekdays 10am-5pm

Raising a Reader- Aspen to Parachute invites you to our "Little Red Bag Club" for parents and their 0-5 year old children who are not enrolled in school. Join us for a weekly hour of story time in Spanish, activities and snacks. These classes support brain development and social skills, and are led in Spanish.

Whether you're racing through Mario Kart, teaming up in a co-op adventure, or trying a new game for the first time, there's something for everyone. Join Anderson Ranch Arts Center for a Visiting Artist conversation with Heehyun Choi, a moving image artist and educator whose work explores the physicality and virtuality of projected images, unseen subjects beyond the camera’s frame, and the shifting nature of perception.

Based in South Korea and the United States, Choi received her BA in Art & Technology from Sogang University and her MFA in Film & Video from the California Institute of the Arts. Her films have been screened internationally at festivals including the Edinburgh International Film Festival, Images Festival, 25 FPS Festival, and Ann Arbor Film Festival, where she received the Mariam Ghani Juror Award. Her work has also been recognized through numerous fellowships and awards, including the 2024 KAFA Award.

As a Visiting Artist at Anderson Ranch, Choi will engage with the Ranch community through studio visits, conversations, and a public lecture. Her Visiting Artist Lecture will take place October 20 from 4:30–5:30 p.m. in Schermer Meeting Hall. The lecture is free, open to the public, and available to attend in person or via livestream.

Knitters and crocheters (and any other yarn workers) come together to work on and discuss projects, yarn, and techniques. Open to all; bring your own supplies and works-in-progress.

Las personas que disfrutan del tejido, ya sea con ganchos o agujas (y cualquier tipo de trabajo con estambre), se reúnen para trabajar en diversos proyectos y dialogar al respecto, además de conversar sobre las técnicas empleadas y los tipos de estambre utilizados.
