An engaging time where you and your child are invited to listen to stories, participate in large motor movement, experience sensory activities, and be able to interact with other children and caregivers. This is geared to children 0-3 years old.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Glenwood Springs will be hosting a 10,000 Villages Fair Trade International Craft Fair. Good Shepherd is located on Grand Ave, next to Sayer Park. The doors will be open Thurs Nov 6 from noon to 6pm, Friday Nov 7 from 10am to 6pm, Sat Nov 8 from 10am to 5 pm, Sun Nov 9 from noon to 4pm. All proceeds from the sale go to the artisans of the handmade goods, to provide a stable income and allow disadvantaged people from 35 countries to take control of their own lives. Since their founding in 1946, 10,000 Villages has provided 140 million dollars in sustainable income to workers who would otherwise be unemployed. Come by and support the artisans and find some gifts that are unique and handmade using local and recycled materials.

Are you a novice or experienced artist looking for open studio time to work on your art projects? Join us from 1 to 3 p.m. on the first Friday each month at the Carbondale Branch Library to explore, encourage and share ideas with others interested in expanding their creative side. Bring your own materials and projects of your choice. It’s free and open to adults of all skill levels and artistic mediums. For more information call the library at 970-963-2889.

Join us for our weekly Friday afternoon club at the AMERICAN LEGION at 97 N. 3rd St. in Carbondale. There will be live music from 5 to 7 weekly, and a burger, a beer and a bag of chips for $10. We also have horseshoe pits, cornhole, and shuffleboard for some summer fun. This event is open to the public every Friday.

A Way Out and The Meeting Place partner to offer two free yoga classes weekly for individuals, friends, and families in recovery from addiction. Mats, blocks, and straps are provided. No registration required.

Join us for November’s First Friday, celebrating Día de los Muertos, the largest valley-wide honoring of this holiday. Contribute your mementos to the community ofrenda!

There will be performances and face-painting, a community procession and performances by Aspen Santa Fe Ballet Folklórico, Mezcla Socials Dance, Roaring Fork Youth Orchestra and more, not to be missed! More details coming soon.
