The Roaring Fork Kayak Club is growing (and having a lot of fun, too)! Our mission is to promote kayaking skills for all age-groups in the Roaring Fork Valley community as well as appreciation and conservation of our local rivers.Your support helps us to provide high quality gear and accomplished coaches who will share their passion with the community and create a strong and lasting legacy of whitewater culture in our valley, and make this community a welcome space for everyone, no matter what their financial circumstances may be.
Aikido is a modern Japanese martial art focused on re-directing conflict into harmony. Benefits include confidence, discipline, stress-relief, resilience, community-building and fitness. All levels practice together. We are affiliated with the United States Aikido Federation.

Want to test the waters before committing to a several-week class? Crave an evening out of the house? Interested in trying something new? This 2.5hr teen & adult one-day intro to wheel throwing is perfect for learning the basics and opening your eyes to the possibilities of clay. You will gain a better awareness of the process and craftsmanship that goes into ceramics. We will cover centering, opening, and pulling clay pieces on the potter's wheel. Because this is just a 2.5 hour introductory experience, the intention is to focus on process. You won't go home with any finished pieces, but you will have a great evening learning a new skill, getting dirty, and meeting new people. Careful! You might just leave wanting more…—

The Arbol Farmers Market is a year-round market in Paonia that accepts SNAP and Double Up Bucks and offers local organic produce, flowers, fruit, herbs, honey, meat, breads, artisan goods, and more. One of the highlights of our market is a donations-based, locally-sourced meal prepared by the Learning Council.
Our summer market runs every Tuesday from May 13th to October 14th at Paonia Town Park, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM for most of the season, with hours shifting to 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM starting September 2nd. It’s a lively community event with live music, wood-fired pizza, and educational opportunities throughout the season.
