Opening October 6th, CCC presents What the Clay Records | a 50-Year Retrospective by Frank McGuirk. This landmark exhibition surveys five decades of McGuirk’s ceramic practice, shaped by time, friendship, and place. On display through October 31st. Details at carbondaleclay.org.
An engaging time where you and your child are invited to listen to stories, participate in large motor movement, experience sensory activities, and be able to interact with other children and caregivers. This is geared to children 0-3 years old.

We also have horseshoe pits, cornhole, and shuffleboard for some summer fun. This event is open to the public every Friday.

¡Bilingual event! Celebrate and honor loved ones with a Día de los Muertos U-Paint-It Party at the Carbondale Clay Center. We provide the pre-made, Día-inspired clay creations for your ofrenda and you get to decorate it with underglaze paints.We will then fire your piece so it is ready for pick-up the following week during First-Friday's Celebration in Carbondale.

Join Kerrie Martin, Holistic Perinatal Consultant, and Ayurveda yoga specialist. This will be an afternoon of ceremony, movement, and education to support women - pregnant and postpartum mamas as well as those contemplating motherhood.
We will gather in the sacred Kiva and explore movement and yoga, meditation and breathwork, journaling prompts, circle time and review Ayurvedic practices to support the full spectrum journey of motherhood.
Babies are welcome to attend for all or part of the day.
We will also enjoy a nourishing Ayurvedic lunch and snack prepared by Kerrie.
Kerrie is passionate about creating space for women to feel deeply honored and nourished on their journey. The HELD experience is an opportunity to connect to your feminine and cultivate practices and community to optimize your well-being throughout the transformative path that is motherhood.
Kerrie has an extensive background in mind-body nutrition, yoga, perinatal health and Ayurveda. Her one-on-one and group coaching experiences support women to connect and listen to their inner knowing and cultivate supportive practices to nourish themselves in mind, body and spirit. Kerrie believes that prioritizing the deep support and nourishment of women as they journey through the perinatal time and beyond creates resilience and deep wellsprings of possibility for the health and well-being of our children, family, communities and beyond.
