High Rockies Harm Reduction provides free overdose prevention materials, education, resources and support, including Narcan, fentanyl test strips, condoms, syringe disposal, hygiene and wound care supplies, peer support and more EVERY THURSDAY at the Brush Creek Park and Ride from 4 PM - 6 PM
Open office hour sessions weekly with a Colorado Mountain College advisor, ESL and HSE instructor. Stop by for free GED, ESL and Digital Literacy resources as well as information about free Colorado Mountain College High School Equivalency/GED prep classes, full cost Adult High School Diploma courses, and grant-funded reduced tuition ESL classes offered year-round. The CMC advisor can provide information on applying and registering for ESL, HSE and credit courses at CMC, and participants are also encouraged to come with questions or requests for resources. Join us for our weekly Friday afternoon club at the AMERICAN LEGION at 97 N. 3rd St. in Carbondale. There will be live music from 5 to 7 weekly, and a burger, a beer and a bag of chips for $10. We also have horseshoe pits, cornhole, and shuffleboard for some summer fun. This event is open to the public every Friday.
