A bear cub met with a tragic end this morning in Carbondale after coming into contact with a power line near 2nd Street and Euclid. Carbondale resident Lisa Dameron spoke with KDNK DJ Amber Sparkles on the air shortly after the incident. According to Police Chief Gene Schilling, the bear was taken to be euthanized as advised by Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
