Gabe Bullard

Gabe Bullard is a senior editor at WAMU. Prior to joining the newsroom, he was the director of digital content for WAMU’s 1A, and a member of the team that helped launch the show.

In his time as a reporter and editor, Gabe has covered everything from city hall to senate campaigns; from Sasquatch sightings to squirrel hunts. He spent six years at Louisville Public Media as a reporter, editor and later director of news and editorial strategy. He was a member of the 2015 class of Nieman Journalism Fellows at Harvard University. He joined WAMU in 2016 after working as deputy director of digital news at National Geographic.

Gabe lives in Mt. Pleasant, where he bakes bread and reads books.
