Ask A Physical Therapist | Keys to a robust and flexible labor and delivery plan

On this month's episode of Ask a Physical Therapist, host Dr. Tanice Kitchener speaks with Gina Mundy, author and attorney, about the keys to a robust and flexible labor and delivery plan.

Ms. Mundy is an attorney specializing in childbirth cases, best selling author of the book "A Parent's Guide to a Safer Childbirth" and mother of 3 kids.

For over 20 years, her focus has been investigating and analyzing mistakes that arise during labor and delivery. She has spent countless hours meticulously scrutinizing childbirth cases, conducting interviews with delivery teams, and thoroughly examining medical records to gain an in-depth understanding of every decision made during labor and delivery. In this episode, she and Dr. Tanice Kitchener. PT, DPT discuss some of the most important considerations in a birth (labor and delivery) plan, appointing a "baby advocate" to be present during the delivery, and more.

Born and raised in Colorado, I have a passion for travel and being outdoors. Biking, skiing, snowboarding, waterskiing, sledding, hiking...anything outdoors brings me peace. I am so grateful to be in a career which allows me to help others maximize their physical abilities so that they may also enjoy the calling of nature or whatever their own passions may be. As a child, I grew up spending summer weekends on the Frying Pan River at my Great Grandparents' cabin and am thrilled to be back in the Roaring Fork Valley.
