La doctora Juliana Oliveira es originaria de Brasil y creció en Carolina del Norte. Está muy interesada en conectarse con la comunidad y en adición de medicina familiar ella se especializa en salud de la mujer, pediatría, tratamiento de enfermedades crónicas como la hipertensión y la diabetes, tratamiento de la hepatitis C y medicina de las adicciones entre otras.

In today's episode, our partner Samuel Bernal of La Tricolor Aspen shares an interview with new Doctor Juliana Oliveira of Valley View Silt Family Practice. Dr. Juliana Oliveira is originally from Brazil and grew up in North Carolina. She's interested in connecting with the community and in addition to family medicine she specializes in women's health, pediatrics, treatment of chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes, treatment of hepatitis C and addiction medicine among others.

Vanessa is a bilingual and bicultural printmaking artist, educator, and writer. She's passionate about mental health, environmental advocacy, cultural equity, and education as a means to create bridges between the Latino and Anglo communities. She previously served as a board member for The Sopris Sun, where she is now the Editor for the Spanish insert, El Sol del Valle, and writes a monthly column, Al No Artista.
