This week on Express yourself we explore several musical experiences starting with an interview with John McEuen, originally from the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, talking about his upcoming show at the Ute Theater, Roaring Fork Leadership team on their work with Aspen Camp for the Deaf and their attempts to revive it as a beautiful, active venue, a call in from Con Brio, playing at TACAW and an interview with Allen Harris, creator and performer in TACAW's upcoming performance of Cross That River.
Carbondale and the Roaring Fork Valley are full of creative artists expressing themselves. And Carbondale Creative District is a hub of artistic activity. Express Yourself is hosted by a team of creatives from the District, reporting on all the latest artistic happenings. That team is led by Amy Kimberly and includes Brian Colley, Aly Sanguily, Kat Rich, Staci Dickerson, and KDNK staff. The show is focused on Roaring Fork events but travels beyond the valley to seek out interesting creatives and communities doing good work in the 21st century. Express Yourself is enlightening, entertaining and informative. Hear it at 4:00 on Friday afternoons.
