This year marks the 31st annual Ski for Sisu at Spring Gulch southwest of Carbondale. Participants have until February 12th to ski as many kilometers as they can to raise funds for the Mt. Sopris Nordic council, the non-profit that operates Spring Gulch on private land through a partnership with the North Thompson Cattlemen’s Association and Crystal River Ranch.
Our guests are Mike Uncapher, who ran the heavy equipment that built 6 kilometers of new trails; head groomer Noah Scher; and Corbin Carpenter, senior at Roaring Fork High and a stand out with the AVSC nordic program. Carpenter skied the most kilometers during last year's Ski for Sisu. The Trail Builder, the Trail Groomer, and the Trail Shredder, on this special edition of GET OUT!
