KDNK's Reporter Hattison Rensberry and News Director Morgan Neely have today's news, including an update on proposed affordable housing in Willits. Also, many of the nation's home births take place in the Mountain West ... and it's mostly white families, though there is significant growth in the rate of Black and Native families choosing to avoid hospitals for birthing. Also, overdose deaths continue to climb in our region, and Colorado is getting more and more visitors from neighboring states who are seeking abortions.

Hattison Rensberry grew up in Rifle, CO and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Drawing at the University of Northern Colorado. She comes to KDNK as reporter and host after working on the design-side of news for the past three years.
