KDNK's News Director Morgan Neely updates listeners on a cascade of incidents around Capitol Peak over the holiday weekend, including a deadly fall on Sunday. Also, Garfield County Commissioner Tom Jankovsky gets pressed on separation of church and state following his June appearance at a right-wing, Christian Nationalist event. Politicians are trying to fill their coffers heading into November's midterms, and housing for nonprofits to host out-of-town guests is getting harder and harder to come by in resort communities.

Morgan is KDNK's News Director. He comes to KDNK with public radio passion and experience. He was a news host, reporter, and operations/programming director at KAJX-Aspen, and has extensive experience working in municipal government.
