Growth in North Phoenix is exploding. But water is an issue here because this area is serviced entirely from the CAP canal, which comes from the CO River.

KDNK's News Director Morgan Neely has Friday's news, including a diminutive unemployment rate in Garfield County. Also, add Aspen Valley Hospital to the list of supporters of a ballot initiative that would increase funding for the Aspen Ambulance District. And, electric vehicle charging in Colorado is getting a jumpstart from the feds. Meanwhile, with the west growing more arid and our grand ol' river drying up, some cities may soon be drinking recycled wastewater. Spoiler alert: It tastes like … water.

Morgan is KDNK's News Director. He comes to KDNK with public radio passion and experience. He was a news host, reporter, and operations/programming director at KAJX-Aspen, and has extensive experience working in municipal government.
