Gray Wolves will be reintroduced in Colorado by the end of 2023. A new map shows that much of the Roaring Fork, North Fork, and Eagle river valleys could be prime habitat for the animals.

KDNK's Morgan Neely brings listeners Thursday's news from the Mountain West, including big money on the way to improve Colorado's ailing infrastructure. Also, the Roaring Fork, North Fork, and Eagle river valleys are looking like prime habitat for wolf reintroduction. Meanwhile, wild mustang advocates want the feds to stop being so aggressive with horse removal and start focusing more on fertility control.

Morgan is KDNK's News Director. He comes to KDNK with public radio passion and experience. He was a news host, reporter, and operations/programming director at KAJX-Aspen, and has extensive experience working in municipal government.
