Jill Maginn (from left), Reagan Toelle, Kat Dressman and Kaleb Cook prepare for a candlelight vigil at the Bluebird Café in Glenwood Springs on Sunday. The vigil was held to grieve those who died and mourn with those impacted by the mass shooting at Club Q in Colorado Springs Saturday night.

KDNK's Morgan Neely has Tuesday's news, including a look at unionization efforts by Starbucks employees in Boulder. Also, Saturday night's horrific mass shooting at Club Q in Colorado Springs was one more of many attacks on LGBTQ+ people in the Mountain West ... and Colorado has the highest number of any of our neighboring states. We go inside a vigil for the victims held at Bluebird Café in Glenwood Springs. Meanwhile, the midterm elections showed blue states of our region getting bluer, while the red got ... redder.

Morgan is KDNK's News Director. He comes to KDNK with public radio passion and experience. He was a news host, reporter, and opps guy at APR and also worked with Pitkin County for a couple of years. He says that getting back to public radio and reporting is where he wants to be.
