Why all the crashes and closures in Glenwood Canyon? According to Colorado Dept. of Transportation data, they're mostly due to speeding. Actually, they're ALL due to speeding.

Why all the crashes and closures in Glenwood Canyon? According to Colorado Dept. of Transportation data, they're mostly due to speeding. Actually, they're ALL due to speeding.

KDNK's Morgan Neely has the news, including an Eagle County judge throwing out a lawsuit against the Town of Basalt. Also, a 71-year-old man died at Snowmass Thursday following a collision with a tree; this was the third death on SkiCo's slopes this winter. Meanwhile, state lawmakers in Colorado are looking to protect women's reproductive healthcare, and care for transgender people. And despite Colorado's efforts, care for mental health issues keeps getting more expensive, leading many to seek help at emergency rooms. And is there any end to working people getting priced out of the west's mountain towns by the ultra wealthy? (Probably not.)

Morgan is KDNK's News Director. He comes to KDNK with public radio passion and experience. He was a news host, reporter, and operations/programming director at KAJX-Aspen, and has extensive experience working in municipal government.
