KDNK's Morgan Neely has today's news, including the long-awaited final candidate profile for this year's upcoming municipal elections in Glenwood Springs. And, gun reform legislation is slowly advancing at Colorado's Capitol—despite outspoken and sometimes contentious Republican opposition. Meanwhile, Republican congressional leaders from around the West are determined to get the grey wolf and grizzly bear delisted from the Endangered Species Act. Also, Basalt is preparing to receive opiate settlement funds, and environmental activists in the Roaring Fork Valley gear up to protest the Uinta Basin Railway Project this weekend.

Morgan is KDNK's News Director. He comes to KDNK with public radio passion and experience. He was a news host, reporter, and operations/programming director at KAJX-Aspen, and has extensive experience working in municipal government.
