Hattison Rensberry / KDNK

KDNK's Morgan Neely has First Friday's news, including near-record runoff causing flooding in Parachute. Also, property owners in most of Western Colorado can expect big property tax increases. And, we go inside TACAW for the first ever Roaring Fork Valley State of the Arts Symposium. Meanwhile, Democrats and Republicans in the Colorado Statehouse caved to pressure from "disruptive" tech companies and killed a bill that would've given gig worker—like those with Ub*r, L*ft, and D**rD*sh—additional labor protections. And for a d*sh of good news, all signs point to a below-average year for wildfires!

Morgan is KDNK's News Director. He comes to KDNK with public radio passion and experience. He was a news host, reporter, and operations/programming director at KAJX-Aspen, and has extensive experience working in municipal government.
Hattison Rensberry has a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Drawing, but has worked for newsrooms in various capacities since 2019.
She also provides Editorial Design for the Sopris Sun.
