Wild horses at the Ute Tribal Park in Colorado

KDNK's Morgan Neely brings listeners Monday’s news, including updates on the Spring Creek Fire … and a canceled fireworks show in Rifle. Also, law enforcement is seeking the public’s help to find a teenager from Craig who went missing over the weekend. Also, the Biden Administration, tribes, and Utah officials are continuing to sort out issues over Bears Ears National Monument, and a new study shows Indigenous peoples in our region were using horses much earlier than believed.

Morgan is KDNK's News Director. He comes to KDNK with public radio passion and experience. He was a news host, reporter, and operations/programming director at KAJX-Aspen, and has extensive experience working in municipal government.
