My Own Two Hands | Kevin Hillmer-Pegram, Professor of Sustainability Studies at CMC

In this episode, host Adrián Victór Fielder speaks with Kevin Hillmer-Pegram, Professor of Sustainability Studies at Colorado Mountain College (CMC), about the role of sustainability within CMC's new strategic plan ("Mountain Futures") and about how CMC students, staff and faculty are teaming up to measure the college's sustainability efforts via the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education's STARS reporting framework. Kevin explains how CMC's Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability Studies program, whose students and alumni have been prominently featured over the life of this podcast, is undergoing a curricular review to better align its learning outcomes with career opportunities in our mountain communities. Kevin's ongoing sabbatical research seeks feedback from alumni of the program, as well as professionals across a variety of sustainability-related fields, about how to support successful sustainability career outcomes for CMC students.

He invites anyone in either category to complete a survey to help this program review process here: https://coloradomtn.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0e39mQUFFPYrKSO

Adrian Fielder co-hosts the public affairs show, My Own Two Hands along with Adele Craft.
