Hot, dry weather combined with dry fuels and a windy afternoon pushed the Grizzly Creek Fire Tuesday in multiple directions. The fire jumped I70 and the Colorado River in the early afternoon.  KDNK’s Amy Hadden Marsh was in Glenwood Springs yesterday and has this report.

The community of No Name, Lookout Mountain, High Aspen Ranch, and Coulter Creek areas east of Glenwood Springs have been evacuated. I70 through the canyon and the popular alternate route over Cottonwood Pass are closed.
