The Grizzly Creek Fire has scorched close to 30,000 acres and, as of Sunday afternoon, is 30% contained. Interstate 70 through the Glenwood Canyon has been closed for over a week due to the fire. The Burnt Area Emergency Response - or BAER – Team arrived this week to start work on the Grizzly Creek Fire burn scar. KDNK’s Amy Hadden Marsh spoke with White River National Forest ecologist Liz Roberts to find out how wildlife handle the wildfire.
