Since the onset of COVID-19 and amidst so much crisis, it has felt crass to be thinking about hope. It is, however, a word we use all the time. "I hope it's sunny tomorow." "I hope there's ice cream in the freezer." Hope seems to be part of the farbic of humanity, but what does it really mean in this greater sense? What does hope look like during a pandemic?
