The KDNK Community Calendar for Tuesday, August 14th is underwritten by Basalt Regional Library, which is no longer charging fees for overdue items. Overdue fines are extinct as dinosaurs!     • Carbondale Clay Center presents the Exhibition Clay National Fifteen: The Narrative Figure, available from 10 am to 5 pm.

    • The Basalt Regional Library provides take and create kits to make bath bombs, available as long as supplies last from 10 am to 7 pm. The library also hosts a watercolor workshop at 4 pm and the Finance Committee meets at 5:15 pm.

    • The City of Glenwood Springs hosts a Downtown Market and Music at 7th Street and Grand at 4 pm.

    • Roaring Fork Fencing Club hosts a beginner fencing class at the Aspen Red Brick Center at 4 pm.

    • Aspen City Council meets at 5 pm.

    • Aspen Red Brick Center presents an author talk with writer in residence, Marie Myung-Ok (MYOUNG-oak) Lee at 5:30 pm and Masterpiece Mine, a painting class at 5:30 pm.

    • Carbondale Board of Trustees meet at 6 pm.

    • Basalt Town Council meets at 6 pm.

    • The Center for Human Flourishing continues its 8-week course with a class on regenerative living at 6:30 pm.

    • The Carbondale Community Choir hosts an open sing in Sopris Park at 6:30 pm.

    • The Black Nugget hosts a billiards 9 Ball Tournament at 7 pm.
