Host Amy Hadden Marsh talks with Carbondale resident Barbara Dills about her connections to the Lakota Nation and her time on the Rosebud reservation and how the 1973 Wounded Knee Occupation is relevant to the current protests against the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Amy Hadden Marsh has been reporting for KDNK since 2005. She became the host of Valley Voices, a longtime public affairs show, in 2006. She graduated with honors from Regis University with a Masters degree in Investigative Journalism in 2011 and says, "If it weren't for KDNK, I wouldn't have gone to graduate school and changed careers to journalism."
