  • Raised in Huntington Beach, California April grew up chasing the surf and swimming with dolphins. With all the great music originating in Orange County it was a chance to see everyone from X, Social Distortion, The Offspring, No Doubt and many more just starting out at the the local clubs. With a special spot reserved for surf music in her heart you never know what a show may bring. When the Rocky Mountains beckoned she happily settled in the Roaring Fork Valley and has made Carbondale her home. Photography has always been a passion and starting Colorfulcrow Photography in 2015 has been a labor of love and given her a way to share her love of the local landscape with others.
  • "On March 28, 1979, Three Mile Island Unit 2 suffered a partial core meltdown. Weeks later, I graduated from college and took stock of my life to date and the future. I moved to Colorado within a year, and that future has been realized, but I still recall my thrill for the colossal quality of music from that era, especially Fusion Jazz and what they now call Classic Rock (OK, oldies). I was inspired then but had no musical ability. I staffed concerts, did some roadie stuff, and a lot of groupie duty. Over the past 10 years, I became re-energized by the quality of musicianship developing right under our noses around the Valley. I still had no musical chops but again did a little roadie stuff and re-qualified as a groupie. I have found the Three Miles of my peaceful Island: Classic Rock, Fusion Jazz and the Local Talent this area produces. That’s Bonedale Kid’s story and I’m sticking to it."

  • I was born in Memphis, Tennessee, grew up in Grass Valley, California, moved to Colorado in 1980, and in 2013 moved to the beautiful town of Carbondale with my wife Valerie. Began my radio experience as a DJ at Fort Lewis College in Durango from 1981-1985. After I graduated from college, I promised myself that I would find another DJ gig sometime in the near future. Well, 28 years later, I found a home at KDNK.
