One of the big ticket items at the annual Labor of Love Auction and Holiday Bazaar on Friday night is a week-long stay at a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in El Centro, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. This is Pitkin County Commissioner Michael Owsley's place and it's gorgeous.
Stop by the Village Smithy in downtown Carbondale during First Friday, the auction runs from 5 to 8 PM.
The event will feature DJ Moot (aka Alex Schrempf) and local food and drinks sponsored by Phat Thai, Peppino's, Roaring Fork Beer Company, Marble Distilling and Carbondale Beer Works. Event sponsors also include Alpine Bank and ANB Bank. Plus, Bazaar decor by Isberian Rugs.
