The National Weather Service says life-threatening flash flooding and debris flows are taking place in Glenwood Canyon Sunday evening. I-70 may become buried by debris. Vehicles should only be used to escape life-threatening situations. The NWS flash flood warning is in effect until 9:30 p.m. Sunday night. I-70 is closed in both directions through Glenwood Canyon and will remain closed until the flash-flood warning has expired and crews have a chance to inspect roadways.
