More than 1.2 billion birds streamed south in one night during their Fall migration in late September. On another recent night some 250,000 birds filled the night sky in Garfield County on their epic annual flight. Delia Malone serves as Wildlife Chair for the Colorado Chapter of the Sierra Club. She lives in Carbondale, and closer to home co-chairs the Roaring Fork Audubon. On Tuesday she stopped by the KDNK studios and chatted with Marilyn Gleason about the great migratory movement underway right now.
