This month, the Andy Zanca Youth News Team speaks with Adam McCurdy from ACES and Bryan Hytower from the Aspen Valley Land Trust to celebrate Earth Week! They also share some tips on how you can live more sustainably. 

This month on Dimensions in Diversity, Jocelyn Careno, a senior at Aspen High School, spoke to us about the benefits and struggles of growing up as LGBTQ+ in Aspen. In a city that claims itself to be enlightened and welcoming, she has some notes. 

AHS Students Take On Microaggression in School

Aspen High School students Fatima Flores and Jocelyn Careno got fed up with microaggressions and the people who stand by and say nothing, so they decided to take action. KDNK's Halle Zander reports.

Fatima Flores and Jocelyn Carreno, students at Aspen High School, spoke up about microaggressions in their school by giving presentations to the faculty. In a bit of a role reversal, they provided their teachers with tactics and resources to better address these situations. 

This month on Healthy is the New Happy, Sarah Fedishen from the Aspen Hope Center discusses mental wellness during the pandemic, specifically what to look out for and how to support youth in our community.
