At a recent KDNK event, The Andy Zanca Youth News Team interviewed attendees about their ideal world.

This week on The Inner Game, Lisa DiNardo, horticulturist and arborist, talks about how important it has been to her to create and care for public spaces for people to connect to the land. She shares about how landscapes are communities, and how the health of human communities is interdependent with the land. The Inner Game airs monthly on KDNK and is about the relationship we have with our authentic self and our life’s purpose. The show features conversations with community and business leaders about how they grow personally to make a bigger difference in the world through the strength and health of their relationships and organizations. Work along the Rio Grande Artway in Carbondale continues. This weekend there is an opportunity to volunteer at the Latino Folk Art Garden for a final planting and the installation of six giant clay pots, created at the Carbondale Clay Center. KDNK’s Raleigh Burleigh spoke with Amy Kimberly, executive director of Carbondale Arts, to learn more. Work at Latino Folk Art Garden, at the intersection of 8th street and the Rio Grande Trail, is Sunday, July 8, from 2 to 5pm.
