The Tiny Print Showcase featuring 145 works by artists from across Colorado, juried by Johanna Mueller (Greeley) and Raymundo Muñoz (Denver). Alongside "You Don’t Have to Be Perfect, But You Could Try Harder" by Marble’s own Tracey Harris known for her razor-sharp wit and painterly precision.

The opening reception is from 5-7pm with artist talks beginning at 5:30pm. The gallery is open weekdays 10am-5pm.

Join us for The Manga Meetup, a place for teens to connect, share their favorite series, discover new stories, and celebrate all things manga and anime. Each meetup will feature fun activities like manga and anime discussions, drawing challenges, themed crafts, recommendations, and plenty of time to hang out with fellow fans. Whether you’re a longtime otaku or just starting your manga journey, everyone is welcome!

Knitters and crocheters (and any other yarn workers) come together to work on and discuss projects, yarn, and techniques. Open to all; bring your own supplies and works-in-progress.

At age 50, Ralph Wanner had a choice; buy an RV for a traditional retirement or chase a decades-long dream. He chose the dream and convinced his wife, Pat, to leave their Colorado home and join him on a 2-year self-supported bicycle journey from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to the southern tip of South America. Neither could have imagined what lay ahead. Join Pat and Ralph as they discuss their adventure in their recently released book, “To the End of the Earth,” at the Carbondale Branch Library at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22. Using the familiar “motivational poster” concept as a starting point, participants will explore the images, words, and ideas that truly motivate them. Rather than relying on generic designs, you’ll create expressive, personalized watercolor cards and posters that reflect your own sense of humor, hopes, and sources of encouragement.

These pieces make meaningful gifts, but more importantly, they’re reminders made for you. If you’re looking for a creative outlet with a positive twist, this workshop is for you.

On the 4th Tuesday of each month, local LGBTQIA+ community and allies gather to socialize, make art, network, and have fun—optionally with an adult beverage. Enjoy a rotating mix of creative projects in a variety of media; no art experience needed. Come as you are, meet new friends, and explore creativity in a welcoming, low-pressure space.

Catch Jack Black as overly enthusiastic guitarist Dewey Finn, who gets thrown out of his bar band and finds himself in desperate need of work. Posing as a substitute music teacher at an elite private elementary school, he exposes his students to the hard rock gods he idolizes.

We are excited to invite families to our early literacy story times. Designed for all ages, we will enjoy stories, songs, and action rhymes in the Community Room. Sitting still is not a requirement for storytime. Young children can reap the benefits of storytelling and songs even while wandering. Give it a try. We would love to see you!

Con gran emoción deseamos invitar a todas las familias a nuestra hora de cuentos para respaldar la alfabetización temprana, creada para peques de todas las edades y presentada en nuestra Sala Comunitaria. Disfrutaremos de historias, canciones y juegos que combinan las rimas con el movimiento. La capacidad de permanecer inmóviles no es una expectativa para la hora de los cuentos, puesto que los beneficios de la narrativa y la música siguen siendo de gran beneficio incluso para peques que prefieren explorar mientras escuchan.
