🏓 Format: Partner Pool Play (3 games guaranteed) & double elimination
Mixed Doubles Skill Level 2.5: 11:00 am Registration; 11:30 - 2:00 pm Tournament (Awards @ 2:30 pm)

💵 Price: $60.00 / team (must register and pay as a team)
Please register with your partner. Once the bracket is full, you may register to be placed on a waitlist. Waitlisted teams will be notified in the order in which they registered as space becomes available.
🏆 Prizes for first, second, and third place finishers at each level (2.5 and 3.0).
🍔 Food and beverages will be available for donation. We'll be grilling, with GF and vegetarian options available. Be sure to say hi to our youth volunteers who will be helping with the grill!

Get ready for a fun day of friendly competition in support of youth in our community! Whether you're a seasoned pickleball player or newer to the sport, this event will offer an opportunity to play, meet new friends, and be part of a vibrant community working toward a brighter future for youth.
Thanks to our generous sponsors, every dollar raised from the tournament (registration and food donations) will go directly to supporting Stepping Stones' youth programming! Our youth are currently raising funds to cover the costs of daily summer programming, experiential outings, and a service learning/camping trip for graduating seniors!

Mountain Valley Developmental Services is hosting a Greenhouse Open House & Picnic, Saturday, May 17, 11am to 1pm at 700 Mt Sopris Drive in Glenwood Springs -- with the first seasonal on-site plant sale starting at 9am.
All are welcome; there will be games, drawings, snacks and drinks.

As more people access the backcountry, learning how to safely and responsibly spend time in these spaces is a critical part of being prepared. Join Aspen Public Radio and The Arts Campus at Willits (TACAW) on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the Roaring Fork Valley’s second annual Backcountry Symposium.

This FREE event will convene local and visiting backcountry enthusiasts to learn about outdoor education, recreation ecology, and mapping technology — plus tips and tools for wilderness safety and backcountry decision-making.

The day will include a series of panel discussions and presentations exploring the outdoors and sharing key resources and tools for understanding the landscape of backcountry adventure.

Beginning with a Resource Fair, area organizations and businesses working in outdoor education and adventure will provide information and resources, including: Colorado Mountain College, Aspen Valley Land Trust, Buddy Program, Wilderness Workshop and Explore Booksellers who will be onsite with a selection of recommended titles available for purchase.

Stagger onward rejoicing. The poet W,H. Auden penned these words in 1941, when he and other poets were "deeply concerned with the worldwide economic depression, the Spanish Civil War, the rise of Fascism, and the beginnings of the Second World War." W.H Auden was also part of a gay subculture of a number of the most revered poets and writers of his time. Rev. Florence Caplow reflects on recently seeing these words of Auden's on a house in her new town of Port Angeles, Washington, and how poets and poetry can inspire us during times of turmoil, personal or political. Micha & Paul will bring their inspiring music to the service.

Do you love to write? join us to engage in writing prompts that ignite the imagination, learn new craft strategies and styles, and be inspired by other poets and writers in the group. Bring your muses, a journal, as well as water and a snack if you wish.

Join the Stomparillaz for our 10th anniversary Oculus Building Party on May 18th! It's a Sunday afternoon/night and the first night of Bonedale Bike Week! Be ready for a ride, movie night, and Slow Groovin' BBQ! We'll watch Building Off the Grid Rocky Mountains, the Reality TV Show, and afterward the cast will REVEAL ALL about what really happened during the filming/construction of the Oculus! This is a fundraiser for the Carbondale Bike Project. We are rolling out our Kickstand Club for our key supporters, so please plan to make a donation or bring a donation of a bike or parts.

Dance with one eye inward and one eye outward.
Guidelines to Consider:
Bring clothes you can sweat and move in. Bring a water bottle.
Be mindful of your boundaries and the space of other dancers for personal safety.
Refrain from scents (including B.O. shower as a sacred act).
Abstain from intoxicating substances - let the movement, music and energy take you there.

The ‘Move with Me’ Program is designed to introduce littles (18 months to 3 years plus a caregiver) to the joys of dance. Using fun, interactive music, props, and make-believe, we will practice listening to music, following directions, and moving our bodies to the beats! A healthy snack will be provided.
