Dig into summer fun at our Summer Reading Kick-Off Party! Celebrate the start of Summer Reading with a high-energy event for the whole family, featuring a live DJ, a foam bubble dance floor, and a bounce castle kids will love. Uncover even more fun with a temporary tattoo booth and a dinosaur scavenger hunt throughout the library. Enjoy classic summer favorites like hamburgers and hot dogs while you dance, play, and unearth new stories and adventures. This free event is the perfect way to launch a summer of reading, discovery, and fun—come ready to dig in and make some bubbly memories!

Summer Family Clay Play Workshop

Get ready for a hands-on, creativity-filled Family Clay Play Day (created especially for families with young children)! This fun and relaxed event is perfect for all ages—whether you’re a total beginner or love working with clay. Families can gather to shape, mold, and explore their imaginations together while creating unique keepsakes to take home.

Come ready to get a little messy, express your creativity, and make lasting memories! This event is held in our outside studio, under the tent.

Please allow 2-4 weeks for pick-up.

Join professional wildlife photographer Jack Small for a showcase of his wildlife photography, as well as an introduction to getting started in wildlife photography and practical tips for ethical wildlife viewing and photography in the field. Q&A to follow.

Tattooers are constantly creating. They regularly translate deeply personal ideas into original works of art, blending in their own style and aesthetic. Their process is both collaborative and expressive.

Once a symbol of counterculture, tattooing has evolved into a widely embraced and respected art form. Today, many tattooers are formally trained artists who maintain vibrant creative practices beyond their occupation. This exhibition brings together a group of artists to examine the relationship between their professional and personal art forms. Could one exist without the other? This curated invitational offers a rare glimpse into the fine art dimension of tattooing, inviting viewers to consider the lasting impact of this art form and industry.

The opening reception is Friday, May 29 from 5-7pm. **See the artists in action Saturday, May 30, from 11am-6pm with live tattooing out of The Launchpad (walk-up, first come, first-served, 18+). On display through July, 3. The gallery is open weekdays from 10am-5pm.

Sacred Brotherhood Circles are a structured space for men to develop health connection with other men through intentional conversation and embodiment.

Topics vary around four key areas of life: Purpose, Prosperity, Pleasure, and Peace.

Embodiment practices include breathwork, meditation, and functional movement.

Men leave with:
- Sense of relief in knowing you are not alone
- Clarity on an issue or decision you’ve been struggling with
- Tools and frameworks to deal with stress and conflict at work or home
- New friends to talk, bike, hike, etc. with
- Feeling of being more in control of your life. Grounded and inspired.
