BikeThere! Garfield County - Wednesday, June 25, 2025

Join us for BikeThere! Garfield County, a county-wide biking celebration reimagined for Garfield County. Held annually on Colorado’s Bike to Work Day, BikeThere! encourages everyone to “bike there” - to the library, the park, the store, or wherever the day takes you.

Six mini-events will take place at Garfield County Library branches in Carbondale*, Glenwood Springs, New Castle, Silt, Rifle, and Parachute*, with activities like:

🔧 Free bike tune-ups (at select locations)
🎉 Fun booths, food, and games
🎨 Bike decorating & kids' activities
🎁 Prize drawings including an e-bike

Biking anywhere counts—and it helps reduce traffic, supports healthier communities, and cuts emissions. BikeThere to be part of the movement!

* Morning stations in Glenwood Springs on June 10th: 7-8:30 AM at the River Trail @ 23rd Street & Grand Avenue and on 8th Street @ 7th Street (east end of 8th Street bridge)

* Parachute BikeThere will be held at the Grand Valley Recreation Center (398 Arroyo Dr, Battlement Mesa)

Wisdom of the Pack is a 4-week series designed for boys ages 13-15 who are ready to explore their inner world, build confidence, and step into healthy masculinity.

Through meaningful connections and self-discovery, participants will gain tools to navigate this pivotal transition.

2. A deeper understanding of healthy masculinity
3. Confidence in their identity and emotional world
4. Practical tools for self-discovery and resilience

Join us for a 4-week series guiding young women on a journey of embracing strength, confidence & true self! This cohort is open to 13-15 year old girls.

Through the practice of intention setting, play, music, movement, and creativity, this series encompasses the many different aspects of what it means to be girl.

1. Notice and understand inner body cues
2. Build fun and supportive relationships
3. Decipher the messages of emotions
4. Interrupt negative thought cycles
5. Take aligned actions on dreams

What you will learn in this series can be used for a lifetime!

On Wednesday, June 25, celebrate Garfield County’s BikeThere! - a free, family-friendly event. The event will be held from 3 to 6 PM at most Garfield County Libraries.

Join us for bike tune ups, food, bike decorating, and awesome prizes - including an e-bike!

Whether you're going to the park, the bus stop, the store, or just out for a ride, BikeThere is about choosing to bike whenever it fits into your day.
