Sopris Lodge has partnered with the Carbondale & Rural Fire Protection District to host a holiday food and supply drive benefiting our friends at Colorado Animal Rescue! Donations to support local shelter pets will be accepted Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Dec. 1-19) in collection boxes at both locations.

An engaging time where you and your child are invited to listen to stories, participate in large motor movement, experience sensory activities, and be able to interact with other children and caregivers. This is geared to children 0-3 years old.

Join us for three cozy days of holiday cheer at C.A.R.E.! From Friday, December 12 through Sunday, December 14 we'll be celebrating our 25th year of connecting pets to their people in a festive way!

What to expect:

• C.A.R.E. swag & Grandma Nancy scarves for sale
• Reduced adoption fees (all weekend!)
• Pet food & supply drive (help us fill the pantry!)
• "Snowflakes for shelter pets" - sponsor a $25 snowflake to support pets this winter (click here!)

Our doors open at 11am and we'll keep the party going until we close at 5pm. We can't wait to see you there!

High Rockies Harm Reduction provides free overdose prevention materials, education, resources and support, including Narcan, fentanyl test strips, condoms, syringe disposal, hygiene and wound care supplies, peer support and more EVERY FRIDAY in the Mid Valley Family Practice Parking lot from 12 PM - 2 PM

Join us for our weekly Friday afternoon club at the AMERICAN LEGION at 97 N. 3rd St. in Carbondale. There will be live music from 5 to 7 weekly, and a burger, a beer and a bag of chips for $10. We also have horseshoe pits, cornhole, and shuffleboard for some summer fun. This event is open to the public every Friday.

A Way Out and The Meeting Place partner to offer two free yoga classes weekly for individuals, friends, and families in recovery from addiction. Mats, blocks, and straps are provided. No registration required.

Enjoy hot cocoa, fresh baked cookies, visits with Santa, festive carolers, and special book signing with photographer Tamara Susa. Join us as we celebrate the start of a magical holiday season!!
