A Way Out and The Meeting Place partner to offer two free yoga classes weekly for individuals, friends, and families in recovery from addiction. Mats, blocks, and straps are provided. No registration required.

When recycling plastic in Carbondale, stick to bottles, tubs, jars, and jugs. No clamshells, plastic bags, coffee cups, or takeout containers. If it's not a bottle, tub, jar, or jug, toss it in the trash. These items can't be sorted and there is no end-user market for them.

Recyclables in Carbondale shouldn't be bagged. Just place them loose in a bin. If your recyclables are in grocery or garbage bags, they're likely being thrown in the landfill instead. Bagging your recyclables may even cause entire loads to be rejected. This is because bags cause jams in the sorting machines which can slow down lines and cause costly damage. Other items that aren't recyclable are bubble wrap, food wraps, and garden hoses.

Join us every Saturday at 10:30 am at the Third Street Center studio for a fun 50-minute class to explore every rhythm in movement and joy.

The ‘Move with Me’ Program is designed to introduce littles (18 months to 3 years plus a caregiver) to the joys of dance. Using fun, interactive music, props, and make-believe, we will practice listening to music, following directions, and moving our bodies to the beats! A healthy snack will be provided.

Utilizando música divertida e interactiva, diversos accesorios y nuestra imaginación, practicaremos ciertas capacidades como escuchar música, seguir instrucciones y mover nuestros cuerpos al ritmo del compás. Ofreceremos un refrigerio saludable.

Kickoff Celebration: Saturday, November 22
Join us for the opening night of Winter on the Mountain! The celebration includes fire dancer performances at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., and carolers performing throughout the park from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Bundle up for a thrilling ride on the Alpine Coaster, then warm up inside with a cozy beverage and delicious seasonal treats while enjoying live entertainment and dazzling light displays.
