Sopris Lodge and HomeCare & Hospice of the Valley invite you to a six-part grief support series for those navigating the loss of a loved one. Held on the third Tuesday of each month in the Community Room at the Carbondale Branch Library, this series will feature a rotating lineup of compassionate speakers offering guidance, support and connection.
September's inaugural session will be led by Sean Jeung, a board-certified chaplain and certified grief counselor with over 20 years of experience at Hospice of the Valley and Valley View Hospital. Sean is a well-known expert and deeply respected in the Roaring Fork Valley.

The Arbol Farmers Market is a year-round market in Paonia that accepts SNAP and Double Up Bucks and offers local organic produce, flowers, fruit, herbs, honey, meat, breads, artisan goods, and more. One of the highlights of our market is a donations-based, locally-sourced meal prepared by the Learning Council.
Our summer market runs every Tuesday from May 13th to October 14th at Paonia Town Park, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM for most of the season, with hours shifting to 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM starting September 2nd. It’s a lively community event with live music, wood-fired pizza, and educational opportunities throughout the season.
Knitters and crocheters (and any other yarn workers) come together to work on and discuss projects, yarn, and techniques. Open to all; bring your own supplies and works-in-progress.

Come hang out at the Teen Café on early release Wednesdays. Middle and high schoolers can play the switch, create art, eat snacks, enjoy coffee, or work on homework. Feel free to hang out for a while or come and go as you please. Must be in Grades 5+ to enter the Teen Café.
