Aikido is a modern Japanese martial art focused on re-directing conflict into harmony. Benefits include confidence, discipline, stress-relief, resilience, community-building and fitness. Kids' classes incorporate a mixture of technique and relevant games. As they progress, they will have the opportunity to test for colored belts.

Join us for our weekly Friday afternoon club at the AMERICAN LEGION at 97 N. 3rd St. in Carbondale. There will be live music from 5 to 7 weekly, and a burger, a beer and a bag of chips for $10. We also have horseshoe pits, cornhole, and shuffleboard for some summer fun. This event is open to the public every Friday.
A Way Out and The Meeting Place partner to offer two free yoga classes weekly for individuals, friends, and families in recovery from addiction. Mats, blocks, and straps are provided. No registration required.
