Intermediate-Advanced Intensive August 11-15 with A Midsummer Night's Dream Performance by the Crystal River Youth Ballet Company August 16 & 17 at the Launchpad.

Aikido is a modern Japanese martial art focused on re-directing conflict into harmony. Benefits include confidence, discipline, stress-relief, resilience, community-building and fitness. Kids' classes incorporate a mixture of technique and relevant games. As they progress, they will have the opportunity to test for colored belts.

Every other week we host a walking club, on Mondays at 5PM, that is aimed to be inclusive of every age and ability, while we explore different paved paths throughout the valley. We walk about 2 miles every meeting.
This club is so important to our community because so many individuals that are faced with mobility concerns are not considered when most group activities are planned. This is a FREE event that is led by individuals that have education and training focused on inclusive navigation. That means whether you join us with children in strollers, are wheelchair bound, or use a mobility aid, we are able to help provide a positive experience.
Again, this is an inclusive club, so even if you do not have mobility concerns, we invite you to still join us for an easy paced walk!
Our next meeting is July 14th at 5PM. We are meeting at the south side of Brush Creek park and ride and plan to walk the Brush Creek Trail for 1 mile then turn back!

Based on the beloved book Make Way for Butterfly by Ross Baruch, this show is packed with magic, laughter, and life lessons. Perfect for children ages 3 to 11, come celebrate summer reading with us and enjoy an hour of pure magic!

Knitters and crocheters (and any other yarn workers) come together to work on and discuss projects, yarn, and techniques. Open to all; bring your own supplies and works-in-progress.

The Arbol Farmers Market is a year-round market in Paonia that accepts SNAP and Double Up Bucks and offers local organic produce, flowers, fruit, herbs, honey, meat, breads, artisan goods, and more. One of the highlights of our market is a donations-based, locally-sourced meal prepared by the Learning Council.

Our summer market runs every Tuesday from May 13th to October 14th at Paonia Town Park, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM for most of the season, with hours shifting to 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM starting September 2nd. It’s a lively community event with live music, wood-fired pizza, and educational opportunities throughout the season.
