Carbondale is home to The Meeting Place, a location devoted exclusively to recovery from all kinds of addictions through all manner of approaches. Currently the cozy basement hosts 30 meetings per week. Karlynn Fulmer manages the space, the schedule and the funding from grants, special events and donations from the groups using the space.
