Tracy Strode
Underwriting Director & DJTracy's music journey essentially began at KDNK, when his mom Susie Strode found a home in Carbondale in 1985 and promptly became a DJ on the station, along with wearing many other KDNK hats in the 80s and 90s. Susie also brought dozens of sought-after musical acts to the valley with her Music Gumbo Productions company, and young Tracy would often act as her secretary when the band members or their agents would call the landline at home to talk about upcoming bookings. Tracy has many fond memories of time spent upstairs at the Dinkle Building studio, our original location before we moved to our current home on 2nd Street
