Express Yourself | Jason McEntyre & Michael O'Connor, Sara Watkins, and Lisa Goddard

This week we chat with Jason McEntyre & Michael O'Connor ahead of their show at Steve's Guitars, we spread the word about "The Vibe Social" beat maker showcase in Carbondale, Sara Watkins talks about her upcoming performance at Harris Concert Hall with the Americana super trio, I'm with Her, and Lisa Goddard shares some insight about...Roaring Fork Insight.

Chris listened to KDNK growing up in Carbondale throughout the nineties and aughts and began DJing in 2016. He hosts "Jazz After Art" every other Tuesday night at 9pm and co-hosts "The Deep..." with MD Cody Lee on Fridays at noon. After many years of volunteering with events and on the KDNK Board of Directors, Chris joined the staff as Membership Coordinator in 2024. When not at KDNK, Chris is a visual artist, seasonal bread maker at Bonnie's on Aspen Mountain, and a member of the Town of Carbondale Board of Trustees.
Tracy's music journey essentially began at KDNK, when his mom Susie Strode found a home in Carbondale in 1985 and promptly became a DJ on the station, along with wearing many other KDNK hats in the 80s and 90s. Susie also brought dozens of sought-after musical acts to the valley with her Music Gumbo Productions company, and young Tracy would often act as her secretary when the band members or their agents would call the landline at home to talk about upcoming bookings. Tracy has many fond memories of time spent upstairs at the Dinkel Building studio, our original location before we moved to our current home on 2nd Street
