The Tactile Traveler Episode 4

Wikipedia Commons

Episode 4 of The Tactile Traveler includes more useful advice for navigating the world as a blind or visually-impaired person with stories about the discovery of Charles Bennet syndrome, how-to guide a blind person, tips for eating at restaurants, using white-canes on cobblestone streets, and riding the California Zephyr.

Journalist Nick Isenberg applies his skills and experience to a new show that seeks to "empower blind and low vision people to explore the world and help the sighted to see the world in a new way." Check out archived episodes here.

Nick Isenberg is an experienced journalist living in the Roaring Fork Valley. He is determined to express his craft as a lively storyteller no matter the obstacle.
