Rita Marsh Inspires Human Flourishing and Compassion

Rita Marsh

Rita Marsh is the founder of Davi Nikent, Center for Human Flourishing. Among her many projects in the Roaring Fork Valley, including recent efforts to replace Columbus Day with Indigenous People's Day, Rita advocates for the Charter for Compassion, a worldwide movement that seeks to foster a peaceful world where all are treated with dignity, equity, and respect.

The Inner Game is about the relationship we have with our authentic self and our life’s purpose. The show features conversations with community and business leaders about how they grow personally to make a bigger difference in the world through the strength and health of their relationships and organizations. The Inner Game air every first Wednesday at 4:30 on KDNK, for past episodes click here.

My life’s commitment is to nurture and expand the innate capacity in myself and others to embody a world of beauty, unity, health and justice. As a staff member of the international citizen action group RESULTS, I coached and trained volunteer political advocates worldwide for more than a decade in the movement to end poverty. I learned about being a game-changer by working alongside visionary leaders like Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Muhammad Yunus; Lynne Twist of The Hunger Project and founder of The Pachamama Alliance; and Marshall Saunders, founder of Citizens' Climate Lobby.
