The highly decorated North Face athlete is missing in Nepal after falling on Monday during a ski descent of Manaslu, the world's 8th highest peak. Numerous avalanches took place on Monday, killing at least one and partially burying at least a dozen others. Much is still unknown about how Nelson's accident occurred.
