The John M. Fleet Pool on Carbondale’s Main Street was a longstanding institution for the town. But the maintenance costs of the aging building as well as safety concerns saw it demolished in 2024. Its replacement, the Carbondale Aquatics Center, has finally crossed the fundraising finish line with the town raising over two million dollars from donors to complete the facility.
