Advocates of Lake County is a nonprofit violence prevention agency serving those at risk of abuse and homelessness. Bridge Leadville is the arm of Advocates that aids people experiencing homelessness. That program recently lost nearly a million dollars due to federal cuts. Co-Executive Director and Operations Director Kristen King joined Mike Lemmer in the studio to discuss creative fundraising, volunteer work, and the crucial assistance that Advocates of Lake County provides.

Rifle resident and Eagle County Undersheriff Dan Loya has been working in law enforcement for nearly 30 years. He's hoping to take his experience in criminal investigation, disaster management, and policing to the office of Garfield County Sheriff.
