Advocates of Lake County is a nonprofit violence prevention agency serving those at risk of abuse and homelessness. Bridge Leadville is the arm of Advocates that aids people experiencing homelessness. That program recently lost nearly a million dollars due to federal cuts. Co-Executive Director and Operations Director Kristen King joined Mike Lemmer in the studio to discuss creative fundraising, volunteer work, and the crucial assistance that Advocates of Lake County provides.
