Robert F. Kennedy was confirmed by the Senate as Secretary of Health and Human Services on Thursday the 13th. He is one of the most controversial of the Trump cabinet nominees, many of whom Democratic officials have taken a blanket stance against. Colorado Democrat Senator Michael Bennet voted against Kennedy, but did vote to confirm Republican Brooke Rollins as the Secretary of Agriculture.

The Colorado River is shrinking, and leaders from the states that use it are on the hook to come up with a new plan for managing its water. They have to submit that plan to the federal government by 2026, when the current rules for sharing water expire.
