Raising a Reader- Aspen to Parachute invites you to our "Little Red Bag Club" for parents and their 0-5 year old children who are not enrolled in school. Join us for a weekly hour of story time, activities and snacks. These classes support brain development and social skills, and are led in Spanish.

Knitters and crocheters (and any other yarn workers) come together to work on and discuss projects, yarn, and techniques. Open to all; bring your own supplies and works-in-progress.

Join us for Mahjong at Basalt Regional Library, an open play session welcoming players of all experience levels. Whether you’re a seasoned player or completely new to the game, you’re invited to enjoy an afternoon of strategy, skill, and community. Facilitators will be available to help beginners learn the basics and feel comfortable getting started.
Space is limited, so registration is required. The library also has a limited number of Mahjong sets available, so if you have your own set, please consider bringing it along. We look forward to seeing you at the table!
Acompáñanos para un juego de Mahjong en la Biblioteca Regional de Basalt, una sesión abierta de juego en la que damos la bienvenida a personas en todos los niveles de destreza. Ya sea que tengas mucha experiencia en este juego o que sea tu primera vez jugándolo, te invitamos a disfrutar de una tarde de estrategia, destreza y comunidad. A monthly gathering of writers who come together at White River Bookstore in Carbondale, where we connect to root ourselves in reflection through storytelling and journaling. Through prompts and meaningful stories, we will explore our beliefs, feelings, empowered actions, sense of belonging, and collective spirit for ourselves, our community, and the world. This is an invitation to slow down, connect, and find stillness and clarity in the act of writing together. Bring your journal and a pen! Donations are optional.
